PLATE Nº 041

Estimate

Three sliders, your own rough numbers, and the arithmetic engraved step by step: estimated monthly minutes, then the plan shaped for them. Every assumption sits on the page, nothing you move is sent or saved, and the output is a shape — never a quote, because the rates themselves are being set.

WHAT THIS TOOL DOES — AND REFUSES TO DO

It sizes your volume. It doesn't invent your savings.

One thing this page won't do, stated up front: it won't tell you what a missed call is currently costing you, or manufacture a savings figure out of your own inputs. The missed-call guide covers that harder question honestly — including why no one can answer it with a verified number. This page answers a narrower, more answerable one: given how your phone actually behaves, roughly how many minutes a month is that, and which plan is shaped for it.

It also won't print a dollar total. The rates are being set at the press, and an estimate multiplied against an unset rate wouldn't be an estimate — it would be an invention. What you get instead is the number that's genuinely yours (your minutes) and the match that's genuinely Dohos's (the plan shape), with the final figure run together, in conversation, at /access.

ONE RUN, WORKED IN PROSE

The defaults, carried end to end.

Say a restaurant leaves the sliders where they start: 40 calls on a typical day, a three-minute illustrative average, a line open 30 days a month. Forty calls at three minutes each is 120 minutes a day; over 30 days, that's 3,600 minutes for the month. The dial reads 3,600, and the shape match lands on the plan built for a phone that's a real, regular channel — busy most days, not just some.

Change any assumption and the whole chain recomputes instantly — a four-minute average pushes the same 40 calls to 4,800 minutes; a line open only 26 days pulls it back down. That's the point of putting the assumptions on sliders instead of inside a formula: the guess is visible, so it's correctable.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ESTIMATE ITSELF
WHY DO I HAVE TO GUESS AT CALL LENGTH?

Because nobody has a verified figure for it — not this page, not anyone. A number borrowed from a different company's staffed service, or invented to look precise, would be worse than an adjustable example you can see and change. This tool shows its assumption rather than hiding one inside a number that only looks authoritative.

MY VOLUME SWINGS MONTH TO MONTH.

It will — this estimate is built around a typical month, not your busiest or quietest. A real heavy month can still run past whatever plan the shape match lands on; that's what the metered-continuation overage mechanism is for, and how minutes work covers it.

WHERE'S THE DOLLAR TOTAL?

At the press, with every other figure in this cluster. The moment rates are set, minutes-to-dollars is one multiplication — and we'll do it with you, against your real volume, at /access, rather than print a working number here first.

IS ANYTHING I TYPE COLLECTED?

No. The tool runs entirely in your browser; nothing is submitted, stored, or attached to you. If you want Dohos to see your numbers, you bring them to the conversation yourself — that's a separate, deliberate step.
